I’m Sue, let me tell you more about No Fixed Abode For Sue.
I was born in London, England, I moved to Houston, Texas in 1999, and then to Mumbai, India in 2013. So now you can see why my blog is called No Fixed Abode For Sue.
After being a ‘trailing spouse’ for quite a few years following a career with a US Investment Bank in central London, obtaining a degree in business management, and raising three beautiful daughters, this is now my outlet to share my travels and my love for the finer things in life.
I travel A LOT and I love it. Most months I’m packing my bags and heading somewhere. But life needs to be organized, and there needs to be quite a bit of luxury sprinkled into the mix to make this work.
Over the years I have stayed at some of the most luxurious hotels around the world. It seems I have a taste for the finer things in life. Consequently, you will not find any backpacking type adventures on this blog. I love to share my adventures through my stories and photographs. It seems like I’m always on the lookout for the next great resort or luxurious place to lay my head, so please send me your suggestions.
Finding the latest ‘hot’ restaurant, or the best upcoming newcomer is proving to be a lot of fun. I enjoy a huge variety of cuisines from all over the world. Of course I believe that food is only enhanced by a fine bottle of wine or something sparkling in my glass. My aim is to make your mouth water, and to tempt you to indulge yourself.
I have become a packing Queen, well they do say practice makes perfect. I find packing lists are the best way to stay organized. Lists certainly help me remember to take all the necessities (and bring them back – but check out my blog to find out how I manage that). Creating packing lists I can share with my wonderful Newsletter Subscribers is always fun. So why not SIGN UP BELOW for my monthly email and let me know the type of packing lists you would find helpful.
Want to know the best travel hacks or the latest travel gadgets to make traveling fun? Airlines seem to constantly change their rules regarding the allowable dimensions of carry on bags and what they will, and will not, allow to be taken onboard etc. Why not let me do the research for you and come up with your best options? Sit back and learn from my experiences, good and bad 🙂
Most of all I hope you enjoy reading my blog and that you gain some inspiration from my travels. Oh and finally, please remember to join my VIP members group. It’s as easy as signing up below. I send out free downloadable packing lists and now have a page on the blog just for my special VIP’s. I hate spam and will only send you something once a month. You are free to unsubscribe at any time.
